I can allllmost guarantee that you’ve never had guacamole like this. There’s no crazy techniques going here. Everything is pretty straight forward with the exception of one thing….my secret ingredient.
You most likely won’t be finding this secret ingredient in anyone else’s guacamole. This ingredient is something that is superbly universal. You can use it in sweet deserts, savory dishes and anything in between. It goes amazingly in any drink from cocktails to a simply glass of water.
You could put this ingredient into a capsule and take it for its health benefits. If you’re going out for whatever reason, you could even mix it with some coconut oil and apply it directly to your skin for a naturally scented lotion.
Heck, you could even put this stuff in a diffuser just so you can smell it throughout your house. Have I given enough clues yet?
Did the diffuser give it away?
I’m talking about an essential oil! Lime Vitality by Young Living to be exact.
Don’t be taken back by cooking with an essential oil. This stuff is so diverse! You can use it just like you were using an actual lime, but it only takes a few drops! You honestly cannot tell the difference.
NOT ALL OILS ARE MADE EQUAL
If you are cooking with essential oil you must use oils that are approved for internal use or ingestion. You CANNOT just go buy whatever lime essential oil that you want and start putting it in your food or drinks. This is why I go with Young Living’s Vitality line for any essential oils that I plan on ingesting. (and all other oils I use too) Any Young Living Vitality essential oil clearly and transparently states that you can (and should) use them for ingestions purposes. The company fully backs their statements on this.

On top of it being more efficient, it’s the purest form of lime you can ingest, so you’re reaping all of the health benefits that lime has to offer.
There is a slew of these health benefits. I could list them all on here, but I’d be here literally the rest of the day. My favorite is that lime is considered a tonic. Basically meaning that it tightens and tones up muscles, skins, and other bodily tissues. This includes but isn’t limited to your respiratory, circulatory, nervous, digestive and excretory systems. Any tissues involve, lime will strengthen those right up.
The biggest reason we’re using it here is for its flavor and man is it packed. You put a drop of this stuff on your tongue and feel like you’ve bitten into a juicy lime straight off of the tree.
Honestly it’s rare that I purchase limes from the store anymore after making the switch to essential oils and getting our Lime Vitality. It lives in our house always, and we’d be lost without it. Let’s just say dishes with lime happen more often thanks to our Lime Vitality essential oil.
Back to the GUAC
The rest of the ingredients are ones that you usually find in guacamole, but they help each other build that amazing guacamole flavor you’ve come to love. The jalapenos obviously bring the heat, but they also add a nice crunch with the onions, amongst all of the soft ingredients. The cilantro helps to cool the heat, and with the cumin brings a familiar Mexican dish flavor.
Of course, there’s the avocado. I like mashing one and dicing two. Personally, I don’t like guacamole that is just mush. It could even taste great but there needs to be some consistency there. Leaving two of the avocados diced keeps it nice and chunky and gives the guacamole nice body.
This guacamole is a little more involved, I will admit. I promise you it’s worth it though. My wife literally hated guacamole before this recipe. Literally!!!!
Please give this a shot and give essential oils a shot! If not for in your food or drinks, for any of the other millions of uses for them. They’ve completely changed my life for the better, and I KNOW you can find a way for them to change yours too. I say this without any hesitation whatsoever.
